Another Friday Night...

Enjoying a low-key evening at home...I've been thinking about movies that I find myself watching over and over again. I won't shock you with the number of times I've watched some of these films, but I will say that I've chronically watched them (more than most people would admit) because they are enjoyable - particularly on nights when there's nothing else on the boob tube:

Miss Congeniality (or any Sandra Bullock film - including The Lake House)

Music & Lyrics

Notting Hill

Love Actually

Stranger Than Fiction (LOVE THIS FILM!!!!)

Never Been Kissed

How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days

You wouldn't know it from reading the list above, but I do enjoy indie films and documentaries, too. I find that they require my FULL ATTENTION (which doesn't happen often) and, consequently, they don't get watched as often. I am fascinated with editing, camera angles, film soundtracks/scores, and lighting when I watch films - another perk or problem of living with ADHD. I have been known to go to movie theatres alone so that I can just soak in the entire experience...there is something about going to the movie theatre alone that soothes my soul and makes me feel calm.

Too bad movie ticket prices are over $10 per person these days.

So - what are your guilty movie pleasures? What do you find yourself watching over and over again? Tell me about your movie watching rituals/routines...
